FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Questions I Hear Most.

Clear answers about working with me, whether you are leading a transformation programme or carrying a live transformation issue yourself.

01

About the work

What kind of transformation work do you support?

I work with senior leaders and organisations during complex transformation.

For organisations, I focus on adoption risk, sponsorship, manager ownership, stakeholder alignment, and business case protection in ERP, digital, AI, post-M&A, restructuring, and operating model programmes.

For individual leaders, I provide private advisory when they are facing a live transformation decision, escalation, stakeholder issue, or difficult conversation.

Is this change management?

Not in the traditional sense.

Most programmes already have change activity in place. My work focuses on whether that activity is changing how the business actually works.

That means looking at adoption, sponsor behaviour, manager follow-through, stakeholder alignment, value leakage, and the gap between what the dashboard says and what is happening in daily work.

Is this coaching?

For organisations, no. The entry point is programme risk, adoption, sponsorship, and business case protection.

For individual leaders, the work may draw on coaching depth, but it is positioned as private transformation advisory. The focus is not personal development in the abstract. It is helping you think clearly through a live decision, escalation, stakeholder issue, or difficult conversation.

For organisations

What is Programme Adoption Risk Advisory?

Programme Adoption Risk Advisory helps organisations identify and fix the adoption risks their dashboards are not showing.

It is for ERP, digital, AI, post-M&A, restructuring, shared services, and operating model programmes where the system, structure, or process may be changing, but the business is not changing enough to protect the business case.

What is the Programme Adoption Review?

The Programme Adoption Review is a paid 90-minute diagnostic focused on one live programme situation.

It provides an independent read on where adoption, sponsorship, manager ownership, or value risk is building, and what needs to move first.

When is the Programme Adoption Review useful?

It is useful when:

  • The programme looks on track, but adoption is not following.
  • Sponsors are present in governance, but not active enough in the business.
  • The SI is delivering the change workstream, but behaviour is not shifting.
  • Managers are not reinforcing the new way of working.
  • Usage is being reported, but value is unclear.
  • A go-live, SteerCo, ExCo, CFO, or board conversation is approaching.

What will we cover in the Programme Adoption Review?

We will look at:

  • What the programme dashboard is showing.
  • What may be happening in the business that the dashboard is not showing.
  • Where adoption, sponsorship, manager ownership, or value risk is building.
  • What needs to move first.
  • What can credibly be taken into the next leadership or governance conversation.

What will I leave with?

You leave with:

  • A clear read on where the programme is exposed.
  • The 3 to 5 adoption risks most likely to affect the business case.
  • A view of what is driving the gap.
  • A practical recommendation on what needs to move first.
  • A defined next step.

A short written summary is included.

For individual leaders

What is Private Transformation Advisory?

Private Transformation Advisory is for senior leaders who are carrying a live transformation issue and need confidential clarity before they act.

It is for situations involving a decision, escalation, stakeholder issue, sponsor challenge, difficult conversation, or political pressure that cannot easily be discussed inside the organisation.

What is the Transformation Decision Session?

The Transformation Decision Session is a private 90-minute advisory session for one live situation.

We clarify what is really happening, what is at risk, who is involved, what needs to move first, and how to act without creating unnecessary political damage.

When is the Transformation Decision Session useful?

It is useful when:

  • You are unsure whether to escalate or hold.
  • You need to prepare for a difficult stakeholder, sponsor, peer, or team conversation.
  • The dashboard looks fine, but the business reality feels different.
  • You are carrying pressure you cannot easily discuss internally.
  • You need to reframe an issue before SteerCo, ExCo, or a senior leadership conversation.
  • You want an independent senior perspective before deciding your next move.

Is this therapy or personal coaching?

No.

This is not therapy, motivational coaching, or generic leadership development.

It is private advisory focused on a live transformation leadership issue. The work is practical, confidential, and decision-oriented.

04

Programme Rescue and Change Architecture

What is the Programme Rescue Diagnostic?

The Programme Rescue Diagnostic is a focused diagnostic for programmes where adoption, sponsorship, manager ownership, or execution risk is already affecting delivery or value.

It provides a structured view of what is breaking down, what is driving it, and what needs to be fixed.

When does the Programme Rescue Diagnostic make sense?

It makes sense when the issue is broader than one situation.

For example:

  • Adoption levels are below expectation.
  • Go-live risk is increasing.
  • Resistance or workarounds are visible.
  • Sponsor behaviour is weakening execution.
  • Managers are not reinforcing the new way.
  • A credible recovery view is needed for SteerCo, ExCo, or the board.

What is Change Architecture?

Change Architecture is the design of how adoption will happen in practice.

It defines how sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, manager ownership, adoption measurement, communication, readiness, and reinforcement are built into programme delivery.

When is Change Architecture useful?

Early in the programme, before adoption risk becomes expensive to fix.

It is especially useful when the programme is setting up governance, delivery plans, business readiness, sponsor roles, manager engagement, or adoption measurement.

05

Practical questions

Is the work confidential?

Yes. All conversations are confidential.

Private advisory is confidential by design.

For organisational work, confidentiality, scope, stakeholders, and reporting lines are agreed before the work begins.

Can this be paid personally or by the organisation?

Yes.

The Programme Adoption Review can be paid by an organisation or, in some cases, directly by a senior leader.

The Transformation Decision Session is designed for individual senior leaders and can be self-funded.

Larger diagnostics, architecture, and advisory work are typically organisational engagements.

Do I need to know which offer I need?

No.

If you are representing an organisation, start with the Programme Adoption Review.

If you are an individual leader carrying a live situation, start with the Transformation Decision Session.

Do I need to commit to a larger engagement?

No.

Both the Programme Adoption Review and the Transformation Decision Session are standalone sessions.

Further work only happens if there is a clear need and defined scope.
